Summer holiday in Meran - The holiday destination of Hafling in South Tyrol is located on
the Tschögglberg, the high plateau to the left of the river Etsch between Meran and Bozen, at
an altitude ranging between 1,250 m and 2,350 m.

The mountain municipality of Hafling is divided in the villages of St. Kathrein, Hafling Dorf, Hafling Oberdorf and Falzeben/Meran 2000 and is home to around 730 villagers. The whole surface of the municipality is just over 2,700 ha.
The forest and arable land are used by the locals for forestry and agriculture. Set in the alpine
meadows, Meran 2000 is the ideal location for a different active holiday in Hafling.
